Heritage Home Door Replacement In West Van

With the responsibility that comes with a heritage home, maintenance is a challenge. Knowing how to replace certain items, and with what type of material is key. Luckily the client that owns this heritage home in West Vancouver did his research.

The existing door was replaced with a true fir door, with double paned glass for energy efficiency. To finish the door, the client opted for a more traditional, craftsman style black hardware and a low profile weatherstripping. A new door that complimented a beautiful building.

Features

  • A true, vertical grain fir door
  • Craftsman style satin black hardware
  • A low profile weatherstripping

“Truly an awesome company to have our work done. Explained the procedure and accommodated additional trouble spots. Work started on schedule and was completed on time. Will use again!”

“I would highly recommend Microworks. Blake and Brian did a fabulous job. They were great to work with … friendly, professional, hard-working. They maintained a super clean workspace, and I didn’t have to clean up anything. Super impressed and VERY happy with the result. Would definitely use this company again without hesitation!”

“ALL THAT AND MORE: While we absolutely agree with all of the kind words supplied by every commenter here, one other thing about Blake that stood out for us in particular: his ability to address conventional problems in creative ways. We are pretty picky about the finished look inside our house, and Blake always sought out functional workarounds that addressed our visual concerns—that’s pretty rare in a tradesman.”

Blake and team have done a number of projects for us. They have been very fair, professional and punctual. The quality of their work is very high.

Professional, prompt and beautiful craftsmanship. Highly recommend. They repaired a pillar on our back deck, trim on our roof and steps in our backyard!

Blake did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend! Friendly and professional
