The current backyard bench and trellis structure has reached the end of its usable life. We’ll remove the existing bench, trellis beam, and three posts, then clear and prep the patio and garden area so it’s ready for a stronger rebuild. We’ll also shift the partition wall to the side so you can see past the structure through the window and get your view back.

Three new 6×6 pressure-treated posts will be set in concrete for rock-solid support. Then we’ll install a full-span cedar 2×6 top beam (from 14′ product) and secure it with carriage bolts across the entire span, creating a frame strong enough for hanging heavy plants or exercise use.
We’ll cut down and reinstall your partition wall to the side so you can see through the window past the structure. It’ll be reinforced with new cedar 2x4s on the top and bottom to keep it sturdy and clean-looking.
We’ll build a new bench base using pressure-treated 4x4s set in concrete. The bench will match the previous size and style, but the seat will be upgraded with cedar 2x8s laid flat with small gaps for water drainage. The sides will keep the same wrap-around 2×8 border for a finished look.
